I made an incorrect join but it's getting easier. No break this time between sides (well.....very briefly!) So maybe the 3rd time will be the charm!
The thread is size 20 DMC and the beads are silver seed beads size 11/0. Tatted in less than an hour!

That reminds me of the flocked tree my mother-in-law had when Dave and I were first married... very pretty!
ReplyDeleteThe tree looks so elegant in the white with silver beads!
ReplyDeleteA suggestion from somebody who knows about these things. Go take a pee before you start - makes for better and consistent tension in more ways than in the tatting!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jane! I will keep that in mind! LOL!
ReplyDeleteIts a lovely tree, I like the white and silver, I am sure the 3rd one will be even better, Lovely pattern and sounds quick to do. I am not sure about Janes comment, I think I will have to keep it in mind too,

That will sparkle nicely on your tree or on a package! Very nice!
ReplyDeleteOh, I like the silver and white!
ReplyDeleteLooks wintery! :)
ReplyDeleteMarilee has made us another great pattern and I like your version in white w/ silver. I've only done it in green and Garden Afternoon HDT which is fun. White is now on my list. Thanks for another idea. Karen in OR
